Terms and Conditions
Unless otherwise stated or agreed upon, all items purchased from us are warranted from the date of purchase for a period of one (1) year against manufacturing defects, by reason of design, materials, or workmanship.
You may claim warranty by presenting the original sale invoice. Should the invoice be missing or unavailable, you can also provide the serial number of the item for purchase date verification. To assist us in processing warranty claims, please register your products through our website.
The decision for replacement of defective items shall be dependent upon the manufacturer. AO Smith Philippines (Amici Mercantile Inc) and its authorized distributors will, at its option, repair or replace the defective item(s) returned during the warranty period at no charge. Replacement parts or units are warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period.
During the warranty period, we will provide the labor for warranty repair without any service charge at any of our branches/service centers.
Warranty does not cover shipping expenses. Provincial clients will need to send us the defective item(s) at their expense. After repair or replacement, we will inform the client that the items are available for claiming. At the clients' decision, we will ship the item(s) back. Amici will not pay any freight charges.
For on-site repairs and maintenance, where service is done at the customer's site, we will charge the customer for the transportation of our service personnel.
Consumables, including but not limited to filter cartridges are not covered by any warranty.
Warranty Limitations
The warranty does not cover damages due to accidents, wrong installations, tampering, misuse, misapplication or any other abnormal causes, including use of wrong voltage, running of pump motor without water, dry-firing of heating elements, damages caused by fire, floods, earthquakes, and other incidental events.
Warranty is void if warranty seals and/or product serial numbers have been tampered or altered in any way.
Warranty does not imply on-site service or appropriation of backup units.
Warranty is valid only for the original purchaser.
